KING, the group-funded workers compensation program for members of LeadingAge Kansas, is pleased to sponsor this Safety Webinar.

Overview:
During this unprecedented COVID 19 pandemic, information, guidance and updates from state and federal regulatory bodies are frequent and changing.  This webinar will focus on a few COVID 19 related topics important to aging service providers.

Outline:

OSHA Recording, Reporting & Notification Related to COVID-19
CDC Guidance on Return to Work Post COVID-19

Objectives:
Learn key components of a Respiratory Protection Program.
Understand OSHA recording and reporting requirements related to COVID-19
Learn CDC guidance on employees returning to work after a COVID-19 infection.

Speakers:
Travis Bennett is the Director of Loss Control with Thomas McGee Group and began working with KING members 8 years ago.  He holds numerous safety certifications and professional memberships.  Previously, Travis was the Environmental Safety & Health Specialist for Black & Veatch/Overland Contracting and the Safety Specialist and Safety Manager for Walton Construction Company.

John Juresic is the Senior Loss Control Consultant with Thomas McGee Group.  John provides loss control services for the KING program.  John has over 30 years of experience in safety with a major insurance company.  His education and background are in consulting with clients on safety matters, and he was the regional leader for his prior company for ergonomic evaluations.

Kevin McFarland is the President/CEO of the KING program, now in its 30th year.  He has been with LeadingAge Kansas for over 34 years and is a member of the Management Team.  Kevin is a licensed insurance agent and social worker.

Continuing Education:
Each connection is eligible for up to 6 individuals to receive continuing education credits.
This educational event has been approved for up to 1.0 continuing education hours in the core of Administration for Licensed Adult Care Home Administrators, Adult Care Home Operators and Dietitians by the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services. Health Occupations and Credentialing approved provider number (LTS A0009).
LeadingAge Kansas is approved as a provider of continuing nursing education by the Kansas State Board of Nursing. This course offering is approved for 1.0 contact hours applicable for APRN, RN, LPN or LMHT relicensure. Kansas State Board of Nursing provider number: LT0102-1116.
