The goal of the scholarship program is to invest in individuals who have a passion for caring for older Kansans to support their future in our field. To date, the program has given away over $80,000 to deserving individuals across the state. Many of whom are making a major impact in our field right now.

“We must keep the great employees we have in the field, and this is one way we can do that, states Weaver. My mother benefitted from this program as the recipient of care from a LeadingAge Kansas Foundation scholarship winner. The impact this caregiver had on her, and our entire family was priceless. We are proud donors of the fund and encourage others to do so as well.”
