LeadingAge Kansas invites all providers serving older adults to participate in the
2026 Workforce Survey — a comprehensive data collection effort designed to capture workforce trends, challenges, and needs across the state’s aging services continuum.

Your participation helps inform:

  • Legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts

  • Workforce policy development and funding priorities

  • Ongoing initiatives to support recruitment and retention within Kansas aging services


Who Should Complete the Survey

This survey is intended for all Kansas organizations providing care and services to adults age 65 and older, including:

  • Nursing Facilities and Nursing Facilities for Mental Health

  • Long-Term Care Units of Hospitals

  • Assisted Living and Residential Healthcare Facilities

  • Home Plus and Boarding Care Homes

  • Hospice providers serving clients age 65+

  • Home Health providers serving clients age 65+

  • Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE)

Each organization should complete both components of the survey process.

  • Used to enter detailed workforce data by job title and service type
  • Includes pre-formatted fields and built-in calculations
  • Contains three tabs: Instructions, 2026 Workforce Survey, and Definitions
