employees who have oversight and/or responsibility for emergency and disas
ter planning. Topics covered include strategies for preparedness and recove
ry from small and large events, an introduction to the Healthcare Incident
Command System and key roles, and communication best practices. Utilizing i
ndustry best practices, the goal of this session is to leave participants w
ith a greater knowledge of critical elements regarding how to manage low an
d no-notice emergency and disaster events.
