As a Qu
ality Improvement Advisor, Theresa Mandela serves as a clinical and quality
processes resource for long term care providers. She works to effectively
promote a data-driven QAPI approach and improve resident outcomes through e
vidence-based education and best practices sharing. Her specialized areas o
f focus include quality measures, infection prevention and medication manag
ement. Theresa is a George Mason University graduate with a Bachelor of Sci
ence degree in Nursing and holds certifications as a QAPI professional, Ant
ibiotic Stewardship Mastery, and TeamSTEPPS master trainer. Prior to joini
ng Health Quality Innovators, Theresa served as a director of nursing and n
urse consultant for institutional pharmacy providers.
