/strong>Chemical Dependency Issues in LTC
This sess
ion will provide the participants with knowledge and guidance for long term
care staff members who care for residents with a history of or current sub
stance abuse. As an industry we know that substance use and abuse is an iss
ue but we rarely discuss it or assess it in post-acute care. In the future
we anticipate even more chemical dependency issues in long term care reside
nts so it is important we identify them and put interventions in place to h
elp the affected residents.
Objectives:
May 16, 2019 |
