Voter Identification Law (SAFE Act)

Voter Identification

Starting January 1, 2012, Kansas voters must show photographic identification when casting a vote in person. If the photo ID has an expiration date on it, the ID must not have expired at the time of voting.

Persons age 65 or older may use expired photo ID documents.

Under a Recent Court Order Proof of Citizenship is Not Required In Order to Register to Vote in Kansas.
