Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some FAQs about Careers in Aging Services Week that might be helpful for you:

Q: I want to participate but there isn't much time to set something up, what can I do to support the initiative?

A: The goal is to raise awareness about careers in aging services - a quick and easy way to support the effort is to do a social media campaign. Highlight your team and spread the good news about working at your organization. Post job openings and offer to be a source of information about the field at your local high school and technical college.

Q: Last week you held everything on one day - why did you expand to an entire week?

A: The change came in response to member experience last year. It was difficult for members to coordinate with schools on one day. The week provides more flexibility and more time to tout working in the field.
