KC Arnold

KC  is currently the Admissions Coordinator for Catholic Care Center in Bel Aire, Kansas. Mr. Arnold graduated in 2018 with a bachelor’s in health management and Community Development and is currently obtaining an Administrator License with Kansas Adult Care Executives. Mr. Arnold’s commitment to aging services in Kansas is to provide progressive leadership to healthcare organizations delivering quality care to the aging population. Mr. Arnold is a resident of Wichita, KS where he lives with his wife Lauren and two daughters, Grace and Kynnedy.


Heather BenneyHeather Benney

Heather joined Aberdeen Village in March of 2016. She previously worked as a Director of Nursing at two other senior living communities in eastern Kansas. A graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, Heather holds a master’s degree in Nursing with her area of study in Leadership in Nursing and Healthcare Systems. Prior to her work in senior living, Heather worked in acute care and has experience in emergency, surgical and psychiatric nursing.


Melissa BriscoeMelissa Briscoe

Melissa Briscoe is the Director of Nursing at Catholic Care Center in Bel Aire, Kansas. She received an ADN from Butler County Community College where she continues to serve as an active member of the Nursing Advisory Council. Melissa received a Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Kansas. She became a nurse to become a part of something larger than herself and to serve others on a local, national and global level. She has a personal drive to advocate for the quality of care and perception of serving the aging population. She has a sister who lives in long-term care, and her mother has Parkinson’s disease and may need services at some point. Therefore, Melissa hopes that her efforts in the field will serve to advocate for the services for her sister, mother and others who may receive services in the future. Her personal and professional philosophy is to serve with gentle compassion and lead with a positive passion. Melissa believes that people see your heart and they follow your vision.


John DieselJohn Diesel

John Diesel is the Health Services Administrative Assistant for Lakeview Village. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kansas State University and he bleeds purple. After spending ten years running internal operations and sales support in the telecommunications space, John pivoted his career to health services as he wanted to focus on serving people. He is the proud father of two sons and a nationally ranked Magic the Gathering player.


Heather ElmoreHeather Elmore

Heather has worked in long-term care for almost 20 years. Her very first job was in in housekeeping and laundry in the year of 2000. It wasn’t long before Heather knew she wanted to provide hands on care. She slowly worked her way up the career ladder by obtaining a CNA, CMA and LPN license. She joined Pine Village in 2013. A year after starting at Pine Village she received a RN License. Heather has worked as the charge nurse, team leader, Chief Nursing Coordinator, Director of Assisted Living and Health Information Management, and now is the Assistant Director of Nursing. Through her years of nursing, she have been involved with implementing culture change and promoting person-centered care. She spends most of her spare time with her husband at a ball game cheering on their 5 children or at the lake with family enjoying the outdoors.


Allie FinleyAllie Finley

Allie started her healthcare career in high school when she worked in the dietary department of the Good Samaritan Society- Lyons. She received an undergraduate and graduate degree from Kansas State University in Psychology and Gerontology. Allie felt a calling to work in geriatrics and worked her way through different departments and finally settling on Administrator. She started her AIT in Loveland, CO in 2015 with the Good Samaritan Society. She has worked as an Administrator in three locations in this time within the GSS Family, Atwood, Minneapolis and Olathe, KS.


Kinton FriendKinton Friend

Kinton is the Administrator at Atchison Senior Village which is a nonprofit organization that specializes in Long Term Care/ Skilled Nursing Services. Originally, from Chicago Kinton has 17 years in the health care field. She began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Skilled Nursing setting, and then held other positions in healthcare including an EMT-B in an emergency room setting, Practical Nursing into a SNF setting, Health Information Technology into a Prescription benefit management setting and then on to become an Director of Admissions, Regional Manager for Wound Care in a SNF setting to Administrator. She holds a master’s in health care administration and a bachelor’s in media management.


Christine KoehnChristine Koehn

Christine has worked in health care since 1987, beginning as a CNA, then LPN, ADN and now as BSN. She held various positions within long-term care including direct care and charge nurse. Her current position is Staff Support and Development, responsible for training. She also serves as the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Coordinator and conducts CNA classes as clinical instructor. She finds caring for elders personally and professionally rewarding and feel that she is fulfilling an important role within health care and society.


Denise OzierDenise Ozier

Denise Ozier is a wife, a mother of two adult children, and a grandmother of two adorable grandchildren. She was born and raised in Southeast Kansas, leaving for a brief one-year stint to attend college in Texas. Upon returning to Kansas, she decided to pursue a career in nursing and graduated from Labette Community College with an associate degree in Nursing. Her first job as a RN was with Good Samaritan Society of Parsons as a young charge nurse entrusted with the care of a 60-bed nursing home. She has been with Good Samaritan on and off over the years as DNS and MDS Coordinator. She had the privilege of caring for her maternal grandmother, family physician, a nursing instructor and a former teacher. Most of all, she has had the honor of working with some of the most compassionate and brilliant caregivers in various stages of their own journeys.


Nicole SchingsNicole Schings

Nicole is the Education and Expos Coordinator for LeadingAge Kansas. She has been in the association for most of her career. With her role at LeadingAge Kansas Nicole assists with event preparation, webinars, CE tracking and CE requests. She also manages all aspects of Associate Member, including recruitment, retention and expos.


Ginger SeeberGinger Seeber

Ginger is the Chaplain of Pine Village in Moundridge, Kansas. She works with 10 supporting church pastors and three additional pastors in providing ministry and service to the residents: counseling, encouragement, grief support, hospital visits, and pastoral visitations. Ginger also has a volunteer chaplain who assists in these same services for our Independent Living residents. She ensures that the residents are respected in their personal faith, that residents are taken to their spiritual activities of choice, and that devotions and prayer are also respected.


Caitie StinemanCaitie Stineman

Caitie Stineman is currently serving at Emporia Presbyterian Manor as the Human Resource Director. She has been in that role for the last three years and has over five years of general HR experience. Caitie graduated from Sterling College with her bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing. She recently earned her Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification in February 2018 and uses a lot of the tools and skills she acquired daily at the community. At the EPM community, she enjoys connecting with both the staff and residents. Caitie and her husband Jordan have been married for seven years and God has blessed them with two kids, Maggie and Jett.


Nisha Trevino

Nisha is the Director of Nursing for Phillips County Retirement Center in Phillipsburg. She started off working in the health care field at the age of 16 as a CNA. She then obtained a CMA certification to further her career. Nisha have been a nurse since 2006 and during this time has worked in pediatric home health, geriatric home health, and long-term care.


Lauren WheelerLauren Wheeler

Lauren has been the Assisted Living and Memory Care Director at Cedar Lake Village since 2016. She attended Kansas State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and Human Services with secondary degrees in Long Term Care Administration and Gerontology. She has been a licensed adult care home administrator since 2014 and have been working in the senior care and services field since 2012. She began her career in the aging field as an Assistant Administrator in the same nursing home her great-grandmother worked in for 30 years in Beloit, Kansas. After moving back to the Kansas City area, she made the transition to Assisted Living and has been there ever since. She loves what she does, the people she works with, and the seniors she is privileged to serve.
